Truenduro
Why you should go there: Five ropeways to access rough natural trails only for bikers. The “3-Länder Enduro Trails” are the perfect destination if you like to shred challenging trails in a trailcenter in alpine setting. The majority of trails in this area has not been transformed into “flowtrail marble runs” and contains lots of features for advanced all-mountain riders. The region around lake Reschen is a must-stop location for lovers of demanding bike trails! A few trails are suitable for beginners and kids nevertheless, so families can also enjoy riding together.
The “3-Länder Enduro Trails” are ideally situated along the route from the southwest of Germany (e.g. Lake Constance or Munich) to the popular destination “Val Venosta” or the swiss Engadin or Val Müstair. Integrate the area into a roadtrip to the other famous bike regions in the neighborhood!
Best travelling time in our opinion is June through September, since all lifts are open daily then. The Mutzkopf lift opens on weekends from end of April on and allows some early season runs.
Who is it for: For intermediate to good riders looking to shred fast & rough trails the region offers a variety of options. Pick your favourite and ride it over and over again or connect the trails to an all-day enduro adventure.
Who should avoid it: Beginners might not find what they are looking for since trails for them are limited. The “purist” biker might dislike the bikepark feel around the lifts and the biking restrictions in the austrian part.
Trails
There are many options for the skilled biker to choose from. Many trails have a natural character and were only lightly adapted to make them more rideable, obstacles like rock gardens and roots occur frequently.
If you like roots try the Haideralm trail and especially the 3-Ländertrail section after the Grünsee. For steeper downhills ride the Elven trail and for fast & fun look at the Bunker trail. The Mutzkopf area is the best option to maximize your trail time.
Make sure to do the 3-Länder Enduro Loop for an all-day tour covering the area!
